6th ANNIVERSARY OF ROISSY (Dark Haven's most acclaimed creation!) CELEBRATIONS at HAVEN TAVERN

On Wednesday 28th August, Dark Haven presents a celebration for the 6th Anniversary Of The Creation Of Roissy, and the birth of the 'Story Of O' concept in SL.
On the same date in 2007, Megan Fabre and Marian Wildcat of Dark Haven purchased a bare sim which they named 'Roissy', after the famous location where Pauline Reage's 'Story Of O' novel took place.

Dark Haven is part of the Meriland sim and we want to say hello to the the newest old members of the community, Josie Ambrose-Roux and Trish Ambrose-Roux.

What a beautiful day! This is the bridge leading South from
Dark Haven into the new town of New Haven.

From Dark Haven, if you cross the bridge going South, you will wander into the new ship building community of New Haven. Besides it wonderous shipbuilding facilities it is a lovely old town with interesting shops and quaint cottages.

Don't let the facade fool you. Under this cloak of genteel respectability beats a heart filled with dark doing and sexual depravity.

PREPARATION GETS UNDER WAY FOR THE SLAVE AUCTIONS

As darkness settles upon the Village of Dark Haven, a trading ship arrives at the docks.

It will only unload it's illegal cargo of slaves when the captain is sure all are sleeping.  These slaves will be led to the cells close by the ancient Megamar Abbey Dungeon, where they will be held until auction day. Lords, Ladies and visitors to the village will have time to view and question the merchandise prior to the sale, perhaps to set an eye on something that might take their fancy.

The talk in the Haven Tavern for the next few days will be of the slaves, banter and bravado leading to arguments about who will own what!

Head Mistress Meriman has appointed the barman of the Haven Tavern, Ed Bury, to oversee the conduct of the female slaves, while she herself will see to the males.  She has warned him not to mark the merchandise.  Sir Bury simply nods.

Preparations completed, a glass or two is raised to the success of the auction!

PARTY IN THE TAVERN ON THE FIRST DAY OF AUGUST - SEXIEST SLAVE CONTEST

Okay, get ready. Starting at 2 PM SLT, DJ Xan is going to be playin' the good stuff. You need to get your dancing shoes on and join the party.

We've decided on the theme. Who will be our next Sexiest Slave? Anyone can enter. This is all good fun.

One of the favourite pass-times of the Villagers of Dark Haven is messing about at Haven Creek, situated right behind Sir Ash's farmhouse.  All are welcome to come join in.  It's a great opportunity to get to know the locals, and engage in friendly chat.

CRUX MAXIMUS SAVES THE DAY

YAY! Crux Maximus took pictures, so Wild Thang night in the Tavern will live on. Take a look. The pictures got a bit wonky when I uploaded them from SL but I will look into it and see if I can improve the quality of the photos.

Crux Maximus, with his back to us, and Nero Geurnstein, with his Hula Hoops, lead the hectic  dance pace in the tavern on Wild Thang night.

Here's Crux again, with Marian Wildcat dancing. Marian wasn't quite up to par. It was really, really late for her, but she kept on dancing, sexy as always.

This, my friends, is the Crazy Man, Ed Fukkinbury. Remember he was the bartender for the evening. I'm thinking we might need to have a tasting party for his new beverage. Perhaps, we even need to have contest to name it. We will see.

company for  Chairman Meow. Tell them hi next time you're in Dark Haven.

MAD ZEPPLIN DRIVERS

Ed Bury floats above the Village Square of Dark Haven, Megamar.

The Megamar Lighthouse is the oldest remaining building in Meriland.  It stands imposingly on the north shore of Megamar, the small island in the north-west where the village of Dark Haven lies.  Since the beginning of (SL) time, it has protected unwary seafarers from the dangers of the offshore rocks and underwater currents prevalent on that fierce shore.
The lighthouse was created by builders from the Household of Dark Haven, then owned by Megan Fabre and Marian Gray, and represented the claiming of the lands of Meriland for Queen Michelle of Harlech and for the Dark Haven Household itself. It takes it's name 'Megamar Lighthouse' from it's creators, Meg and Mar.
Today, visitors to Dark Haven Village disembark from ships that dock in the shadow of the lighthouse.

GREAT PARTY CRAZINESS ABOUNDED

I need to confess that with all the fun I was having last night I forgot to take any pictures.

We need to recruit some Dark Haven Photographers. Perhaps, a guild is needed to train likely suspects. 

Anyway, there are no photos of the Wild Thang Party, so I included this picture of me... with Marian, the slut on the steps of the uninhabited Roissy Residential Chateau. I do think that lovely chateau is one of our better builds, not on a par with the newly redone Dark Haven but still lovely.

You all would have loved seeing Lord Nero Guernstein gyrating on the stag with afro hair on his head (an arrow through it), no shirt, very tight pants, high boots and twirling 5 hula hoops on various parts of his body.... if that is not a Wild Thang, I don't know what is.

There is no way that I could not also mention our scariest participant, Sir Crux Maximus. White face paint, berzerk clown grimace, daggers hanging from his nipples, juggling torches, all added up to one crazy scary Wild Thang... but he was still the same Smart Alec and always a fabulous addition to party time.

But the person who walked away with the prize for The Wildest Thang of All, was Lady Cathy Nicoletti. The Dark Haven Lady walked into the festivities wearing a lovely blue and white period dress and morphed into a beautiful fox in a blue jump suit. Besides the dancing cow, Lady Cathy was the only transspecies attendee.

DJ Xan Lisle's music kept the tempo going. Lots of Jungle Music. I especially loved "I Want To Do It Like A Cave Man"! Of course Xan was shadowed by her yummy toy boy Kingston Newton. Everyone needs to catch one of Xan's great dance revues at the Moulin Rouge, and you can find her all around SL at various venues. But for the next week or so, Xan is taking a well deserved vacation. "Have a great time, Xan."

A usual Marian was falling asleep. It was very late in Ireland. I told her to take a nap.

Ed Fukkinbury was our bartender last night and was serving his signature beverage, Guinness and Beans. It is always accompanied by a spoon. No one has named it yet, but I think there is some leaning toward Hoot & Whistle. Let me know if you have any other thoughts on the subject.

Wild Thangs Party - Thurs., June 13 - 6 PM SLT

Release your inner Wild Thang! Starting at 6 PM this Thursday night, (06.13.2013), all of the Dark Haven denizens will creep out of their lairs to frolic in the Tavern. Our DJ, Xan Lisle can charm a snake with her smooth jazz sounds or raise a frenzy in a Tazmanian Devil. The beer is always cold.  The conversation is always zany.

Another RL SNAFU

In the normal style of everyday life, it bit me in the ass. I scheduled a discussion group last night to talk about Dark Haven with dominants and their subs. Unfortunately, my ISP decided to work on their system in my neighborhood and disconnected me and the other residents from the internet. Grrr! So there was no meeting. Stay tuned we will reschedule.
